Reindeer Chow

We were told by a certain elf on a shelf, that while we always leave out cookies out for Santa, his reindeer have a sweet tooth too. So this year we are leaving a little sweet something for all his helpers too. After all, they are flying all night long. This Reindeer Chow is a favorite of all of Santa’s little helpers and it is a super easy recipe to throw together for any unexpected reindeer company or as a last minute hostess gift.

Get your kids to help you measure and pour the ingredients for this very kid friendly recipe. Reindeer Chow is a perfect recipe to whip up during the busy holiday season.

Instructions
  1. Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl 30 seconds at a time, stirring after time, until chips are melted.
  3. Add melted white chocolate chips to bowl and mix well until everything is coated.
  4. Pour mix onto a silicone mat or parchment paper covered baking sheet and spread out evenly. If desired, sprinkle with sanding sugar and sprinkles.
  5. Place baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes until firm.
  6. Break into small bite size pieces and store in a plastic storage bag until needed.
